Call Recording and Telephony Notice
Version 2026-10-23
Your assistant can call and text people and businesses for you. These rules protect the people it calls and are part of the Terms of Service.
- Only on your request. Your assistant calls or texts a person or business only when you ask it to, for your own affairs. It does not make marketing, sales, political or debt collection calls, and it does not call lists of numbers.
- It says it is an AI. On calls from our shared number, your assistant begins by saying that it is an AI assistant calling on behalf of you by name, and how to stop further calls. When it calls from a phone account of your own, you are responsible for these disclosures wherever the law requires them, and we ask you to keep them on.
- Recording. Calls are recorded only if you turn recording on. Then your assistant says at the start that the call is recorded. Florida, California and several other states require the consent of everyone on a call to record it. If a person does not agree, they can say so or hang up, and you must not keep or use a recording made without the consent the law requires; ask your assistant or us to delete it.
- Calling hours. From our shared number your assistant calls between 8:00 and 21:00 in the called person's local time, unless you confirm that the call is to a business or that the person agreed to a call at another time.
- Consent of the person called. Before your assistant first calls a personal number in the United States from our shared number, you confirm that the person agreed to get calls from your assistant. You are responsible for that confirmation being true.
- Stop means stop. A person can say stop during a call or reply STOP to a text message. Their number then goes on a do-not-call list for the whole service, and no assistant calls it again from our shared number. Replying HELP to a text message explains who is writing.
- Limits. From our shared number a number gets at most 3 calls in 30 days from the whole service. Your assistant never dials emergency, crisis or premium numbers; call 911 or 988 yourself.
- Calls in the Zhorvel app. When you talk to your own assistant in the Zhorvel app, the call audio is not recorded, and what your camera shows is used during the call only, unless you ask your assistant to keep a picture. Your assistant rings you or a person you introduced only as their call settings allow.
- Transcripts and recordings. Transcripts and summaries of calls stay in your space. Call audio, when recorded, is kept for the retention period your settings show, 30 days unless you change it.
- Your responsibility. The calls and messages your assistant makes for you are yours. You make sure each one is lawful, and the Terms of Service say what you owe us if one is not.
- Complaints. If our assistant called you and you want it to stop, say stop, reply STOP, or write to requests@lomray.com.
